Privacy notice
This notice covers meshcovey.com. MeshCovey is in development and is run by MakerCraft LLC in Sedona, Arizona. We keep this short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Only what you type into the interest form:
- Your name, email, organization and role
- Your state and message, if you add them
- Whether you asked for updates
We also record when the form was sent and which page it was sent from. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other sites.
Why we collect it
- To reply to you about the 2027 field program
- To send occasional MeshCovey updates, only if you ticked the box
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services below that help us run the site.
Services we use
- Google Firebase hosts the site and stores form entries.
- Google reCAPTCHA, through Firebase App Check, checks that form entries come from a real browser. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to it.
- An email delivery service sends us a notice when a new form entry arrives.
How long we keep it
We keep form entries while the field program and our conversation with you are active, and delete them when they're no longer needed or when you ask.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop updates, email support@makercraft.org. We'll act on it within 30 days. Every update email will also include a way to opt out.
Children
This site is for search-and-rescue professionals and volunteers. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
